Your bills already hold your emissions data.
KarbonBook reads your electricity, water, fuel and waste documents, calculates Scope 1 and 2 emissions with published factors, builds a Bursa-format performance table you can trace back to every bill, and shows you where to start cutting.

From a pile of bills to a report you can defend.
No spreadsheets to fill in. You upload what your finance and operations teams already receive every month.
Upload the document
A PDF or a clear photo of a bill, statement, receipt or waste form. Pick the document type and, for receipts, the site or vehicle it belongs to.
KarbonBook reads it
Dates, account numbers, quantities and units are taken from the page. Anything it can't read stays empty instead of being guessed.
You check and correct
Clear documents that match a known account are approved automatically. Everything else waits in your inbox, where a reviewer can fix anything misread before approving.
The report builds itself
Emissions by scope, by facility and by financial year, with a three-year Bursa-format table you can download as Excel or PDF.
Electricity bills
Consumption in kWh, matched to the right site and grid region: Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah or Sarawak.
Fuel card statements
Every fuel line on every page, added up by the system and checked against the statement's printed total.
Fuel receipts
One-off fill-ups for generators, equipment or vehicles, recorded on the purchase date.
Water bills
Withdrawal as printed, converted to m³, with meter readings checked against the billed amount.
eSWIS consignment notes
Hazardous waste by SW code and consignment note number, with no chance of counting it twice.
Waste contractor invoices
Weighed lines only, split into diverted and directed to disposal. Rental and trip charges are left out.
Scope 1 Refrigerants are entered by hand: a register of your air-conditioners, chillers and vehicle units, and each top-up or leak repair. Emissions use the gas’s global warming potential from the IPCC’s latest assessment (AR6).
Then it tells you where to start.
KarbonBook reads the year’s figures and points to what matters: your largest sources, months with missing bills, how you compare with last year, and whether your electricity use is nearing the threshold of the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act. An AI-written action plan turns that into a short list of priorities, each with a first step.
- Only your real figuresEvery number in the plan comes from your report. A plan that invents a saving or a figure is refused before you see it.
- Only measures we’ve checkedChosen from KarbonBook’s own list of measures and current Malaysian programmes, such as Solar ATAP and the Green Electricity Tariff, each with its source and the date we last checked it.
- Honest about what changesIt tells you when a measure won’t show in your reported emissions, for example buying green electricity certificates.
- Kept up to dateEach plan is saved with the figures it was based on, and marked out of date when new bills change them.
Most of your emissions come from electricity at the Shah Alam plant, with the delivery fleet second. Two months of bills are missing, so totals are incomplete.
- Fill the gaps in your dataFirst step: upload the May and June electricity bills for the Shah Alam plant.
- Find out where the electricity goesFirst step: sub-meter the three largest loads for one month.Lowers Scope 2 in your report
- Use less fuel in the vehicles you haveFirst step: compare litres per vehicle on the fuel card statements.Lowers Scope 1 in your report
Every number traces back to a page.
- Original documents are kept as evidenceUploaded files can't be deleted or overwritten by users, so an auditor can always open the bill behind a figure.
- A permanent change historyEvery approval and change is written to an audit log that nobody can edit or delete.
- Corrections sit beside what was readWhen a reviewer fixes a misread figure, the AI's original reading is kept next to the correction, so both are visible to an auditor.
- Published factors, stored with each resultEmissions use official factors, such as the UK government's DESNZ set for fuels, and each record keeps the factor it was calculated with.
- Missing data says soA figure with nothing behind it shows as a dash, never as zero. Unit mismatches and missing factors stop an approval instead of slipping through.
- Your data stays yoursEach organisation's data is isolated from every other, stored in Singapore, and deleted within 30 days if you leave the beta.
Try it on your own bills.
The beta is invite-only and free. Tell us a little about your company and we'll get in touch to set you up.
